Mystery Food Revealed
We waited with baited breath (I know it’s “bated breath” but work with me here). We had been told we would be fed a local specialty and then they broke up laughing. Cultural Wow
Tonight at the Peace Rally they recognized the ten regions of Cameroon with people in traditional costumes from each region. I was pretty excited when it was announced that the Fon (chief) of Cameroon and his first wife were in attendance. They walked in stately fashion down the center aisle to the stage. What was real were the Yemba people who brought the passion with drums, dress and dance. I had not met a Yemba speaker yet so I had to look up the traditional Yemba greeting as:
Nja “how are you?”
Nja a be (respectful greeting) “Hello there”
Nja Nja “good morning”
Nja mbia “good afternoon”

The Peace Rally was incredible and I received an awesome thank you gift done by a local artist. The sermon started and I was preaching from the Book of Revelation. Another perfect night until…
